Mung Mix - Cooking instructions

1. Sauté a med/large tomato in your favorite oil, butter or ghee to make it mushy and soft.

2. Empty contents of The Lentil Co. jar into the mushy tomato mix and sauté for 2-3 mins on low-medium flame. Such roasting of spices releases aromatic flavors.

3. Add water using the empty jars and cook lentils in a lidded cookware until soft and homogenous. See, chart below. 

4. Optionally, garnish with lime juice and cilantro.
